ACTRA Research Project

ACTRA is an NGO focused on reducing crime and violence in Columbia through group therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), incubated as part of the Charity Entrepreneurship program. Their choice of methods is informed by their cost effectiveness, research-based evidence of impact, simplicity of implementation, and human rights focus.

When ACTRA started a year ago, their initial Theory of Change (Theory of Change) was based on their Ambitious Impact/ Charity Entrepreneurship report, which was then structured into a step by step ToC. You can find an (internal) work-in-progress Theory of Change of ACTRA in the document below.

Your task will be to do research on a certain topic of your choice. This is an individual project in which you will have around 10-20h to complete, at your pace, with a mid-way meeting with Henning, the co-founder, to give you feedback and track if you are working in the right direction.

For more information you can contact Maeli Lagnide: +33 7 83 39 30 22 and if you’re interested you can sign up here.
